Why add images to microfilm, an old outdated technology? Microfilm still is the least expensive long term archival storage media out there. Once on microfilm and stored properly, microfilm has an estimate lifespan of up to 500 years. If you have relatively inactive files and need to keep them for a long period of time then adding them to microfilm may be your answer.
We write to both 16mm and 35mm microfilm. Documents that are 11” X 17” or smaller can be added to the 16mm microfilm but documents the are larger than 11” X 17” should be written to 35mm microfilm for clarity.
